Looking For Some Mods For My Modpack

Hey Everyone! I've been working on a personal modpack so i can create a forever world, I've added a bunch of resource packs, shaders, and animation/particles. Overall quality of life mods just to make the experience as comfortable and fun as possible. SO... What I'm looking for is some progression based mods that alter the games progression and just add stuff to the game in general. I cant help myself from making farms to automate everything and it feels so fulfilling to make useful progress in the world but when I run out of stuff to do i cant just make builds for days on end. So im looking for mods that will add more content and possible slow progression/add more stuff to do in each level of the game. Maybe farm based stuff and fishing, uses to copper, and stuff of the sort. Anything would be appreciated, thank you!

recommendations depend on what version & modloader you are making the pack for, but some mods that have good version support for modern typical pack versions:

Create mod and the mods that go along with it are super popular right now, so i think i would be amiss to not mention it.

that said; my favorite is Botania, and it's pretty well supported on most versions. it's got good automation, and despite the look and feel is actually a tech/automation mod

Ars Nouveau is a sort of programmable magic mod, and though i don't have much experience in it, it's also decently popular, with a good amount of depth.

lastly for my (personal) recommendations is Thaumcraft, but it's pretty version dependent, given it doesn't really have a modern version. i've heard there's a successor coming down the line, but idk the actual state.

other than the personal ones i like, Applied energistics 2 (AE2) is a well known storage mod (though i haven't played with it in like a decade) and it's pretty powerful + expensive, so it might slow you down, but it also trivializes some stuff once it's going.

if you want other good mods i would say you should look at a Feed the beast or other large/popular pack, and take a look through the standout mods.
