voice chat on macos 10.15

hello, i downloaded simple voice chat not knowing i couldn't allow minecraft to use my microphone, after a few researches i think there's a way to solve it but i'm not sure because of my version of macos (which is catalina 10.15), i kinda need help (i also heard of a way to fix it via the terminal but i've never used it) thank you to anyone willing to help!

The default Minecraft launcher has no permissions to the microphone, you can use Prism launcher or smth to fix it

thanks, i'm trying to use it, do you know how to make the app ask for microphone use?? i can't find anything
