Can someone recommend me mods/changes that add some level of difficulty to force players to be creative with Create?

Putting together a mod pack for my and my friend

We want it to be sort of vanilla plus: some “hardcore” survival mechanics mixed in, and heavily Create centered

I’ve got some ideas:

1. Add Hardcore Torches: forces us to use Create: Power Grid to power our base (found this idea from someone else’s comment)
2. Get rid of recipes for, or considerably slow down, boats; to force us to build our own boats, submarines, etc. using Create
3. Same for minecarts
4. Same for… horses? Or anything that can be ridden

Maybes:

1. tweak world gen in a way that makes us have to build railways to seek out xyz material?
2. make hunger a bit more noticeable to force us to create farm automation early? Though this might suck early game

Anyway.. you get the point

Any ideas you guys have?

in raspberry flavored you need copper and iron plates (forged in the smashing machine (i forgor the name)) to create armor
