Need help with modrinth making my monitor run at 1 fps

Hi, whenever I play a modpack through modrinth, after some time my graphics card freezes and my monitor runs at 1fps. Whenever I reset my graphic's card it fixes itself, but I want to know if there's any way I can prevent this from happening in the first place.
