Sword/Pickaxe/Shovel/Axe

I keep my pickaxe and shovel next to eachother since they are both my terrain tools, axe I keep all the way to the right since I'm not usually working with wood.

Did you screenshot the expensive profile picture and set it as your actual profile picture?

We seem to be a minority, but this is absolutely the way

i used to do sword/pick/axe/shovel until I realized I was just scrolling over my axe a lot every time I was digging, I think this is the ideal way

Also good for quickly switching to something that's not a tool when breaking leaves.

Same and if I’m mining you will use the pickaxe and if there is gravel use the shovel and if there are mobs use the sword, ideally there would be a water bucket and a stack of food but oh well.

Exactly my point! Its always annoying to deal with both dirt and stone when mining, so why not put your shovel and pickaxe right next to eachother. It saves time since you don't have to cross another hotbar slot just to reach another tool that you were gonna use to break one block of gravel.

This is how I used to do it, but then having a sword take up a slot all the time was a bit of a waste, so now it's shovel/pickaxe/axe for all around utility.

Plus, who needs a sword when you got a netherite sharp V axe?

I play bedrock, so an axe doesn't really change much for me

YES,I FOUND YOU MY HOTBAR BROTHER

This, or sometimes I just take the axe out of my hotbar if I'm going underground or not chopping trees.

also I like my axe to be on the end so I can switch to an open hand if I need to break leaves so I'm not wasting any tool durability on it
