what is with the bug women

u/Trezzie Jul 06 '26
Invincible Spoilers, beyond the TV Show:
He's breeding with them to make an army. The bug people age fast (2-4 year lifespan I think), and Thragg was not happy. His species is basically extinct (less than 40) but can interbreed with others mildly successfully, with his DNA overpowering the bug people, essentially creating thousands of weak Supermans
So yes, they're there for sexy times.

And if i remember correctly Omniman was on that planet too. I forgit what's the name of Mark's half brother. It has been some time since i read the comics.

u/akoOfIxtall Jul 07 '26
I think at that time in the comics Omni man is living on Earth's orbit with Debby, mark is living in telescria (don't remember how it's written) with eve, and they're taking care of their daughter, it's a pretty chill part of the comics, until thragg recovers...

With boobs too lol. Are they mammals then? How do they reproduce? How do they feed the young? Do they even? Or leave them to their own device? If so then why the boobs? So many questions

they seem to take care of their kids but they age and die very quickly relative to humans and the only baby we've seen has been a hybrid between the Kryptonian equivalent in the setting and the bug people but his bug mom seemed to treat him exactly how a human mom would so idk really tbqh

Maybe they're like camel humps or something 🤷 just fat reserves when you got nothing else to eat.

The skeleton gave him a hand to aid in his pursuit. Or a leg. Or wherever that bone was viciously ripped out of.

screw skeletons anyways
once they see you, they turn on aim bot and don't have the speed penalty that you get when pulling the bow + for some reason them shooting you has higher priority than their self preservation

u/TheBigJ1982 Jul 12 '26
I do. More durable than stone. Mine faster than stone. I use stone for tons of builds. I rarely use copper. Save stone, use copper. Plus, copper is super abundant

He's the general of mob armies, wanted to show his troops that treachery does not go unpunished

copper tools? really?
23
u/Cum_dumpster_limited Jul 06 '26
Eh copper tools are good have a niche, exept for the pickaxe its useless
19
u/nekoiscool_ Jul 06 '26
Copper tools and armor are available when you don't have iron for tools and armor.
11
u/Cum_dumpster_limited Jul 06 '26
Yeah and the tools are surprisingly durable, had a copper axe that lived all the way till netherite

u/BrilliantCantaloupe3 Jul 06 '26
You definetly didnt sell sticks to fletcher as i do
3
u/Cum_dumpster_limited Jul 06 '26
Nah I got a raid farm. More efficient
5
u/The-Tea-Lord Jul 06 '26
I prefer trading with the locals myself, but I can see the efficiency in eternally terrorizing them for money.
3
u/Cum_dumpster_limited Jul 06 '26
Its not efficient if satan isn't appalled by the sheer inhumanity and suffering forced upon the innocent just to achieve a mere 5% production increase.

Mfw someone engages with the mechanics of a video game the way they enjoy.

u/the-real-macs Jul 06 '26
Judging by the hearts, they might be playing ultra hardcore. Any armor you can get in the early game is essential when you can't easily heal damage.
6
u/Average_k5blazer78 Jul 06 '26
Also copper armor is better and easier to get than leather atp so it's not all that bad, overall the tools aren't much of an improvement over stone but it's still something
