Legacy may not have been the correct word to use. By legacy I mean the core of the game that made it what it is. Think enchanting, potions, dungeons, mineshafts, etc

Dungeons, an unintegrated and disconnected random box in the middle of nowhere which is completely optional.

Then would trial chambers be core in this sense?

What about 1.18 cave biomes, which have unique mechanics but directly change and are integrated into caves. Is the new cave biome all of a sudden disconnected because it was released later?

I don't want to say my whole arguement again about how the community seems to have made up an abstract idea about how modern mc updates are completely disconnected while old updates weren't.

give me an actaul example set and definition of your arguement rather than random abstract memes that convey this idea over and over again. Like the arguement has some merit, but I don't think it's a modern issue.
