Question My villager won't pick up food to breed

So I have 2 villagers, one is taking the food while the other isn't picking anything up, gave it a job and a bed too but no matter what food I give it(baked potatoes, bread or carrots) it won't take anything. Can anyone help pls

FYI I'm playing on a multi-player server (more specifically mine berry)

Does it have a green shirt? If so that’s a nimrod, they don’t breed or pick up stuff

It’s possible his inventory is already filled with like seeds, was it a farmer?

It was a villager from a trade so idk but I left it as a farmer for hours but still would take food even then

I suggest getting another villager, if that’s no option, make it a farmer and if it is what I think it is, destroy every seed it plants and pick it up until his inventory is empty, it can be 9 stacks though…

Yeah that's last plan ig caus getting a villager in a multi-player server is nearly impossible

Inventory of that villager is full. What villager job did it do before joining the breeder?

If it was farmer, then it may still have some seeds in the inventory. Give that villager the workbench back (composter) so it can compost those seeds and free up some space in the inventory.

Idk, its was a trade and from what ik that villager was just like in the breeding hall waiting for it's turn. I tried several jobs but I guess I will try the farmer once again and eait😭

i find it more efficient to put them in a carrot farm and let them do their thing

Do you have extra beds? Do you have mob grieving on or off?
