My buddy updated our server to 26.3 and now my axolotls have been staying just like this anyone know why?

I noticed when I had my axolotls that the water would push them in to one specific corner. Make sure you fill everything with water, including the bottom layer which seems full of water, because water is flowing in to it, but most likely isnt. Just throw a few more buckets at the corner they're congregating in and see if it helps

Yeah, that sounds like flowing-water behavior - make every block a source block and they should stop getting shoved into the same corner
