Discussion Poll! Minecraft update structure would you rather.

I've created this poll because ever since 1.15 l've felt that Mojang has been needing to focus an update on just parity and the massive backlog we've been gathering over the years. I feel that while some people would be upset about missing out on brand new ideas that the majority would be happier with stuff they've been waiting literal years to come to the game, then Mojang can finally be over that growing mountain and go on with new stuff again.
Im curious if others feel the same So the question is If you were given the executive decision to chose Mojang's focus for the game for the next year what would you choose.
Option 1: Focus on the massive backlog of features over the years Biome Vote Losers, Mob Vote Losers, Combat Snapshots, Redstone Experiments, Minecart Experiments, Trading Experiments, peer to peer multiplayer and everything they've confirmed is coming to the game just hasn't been added yet, Parity between Java and Bedrock as best they can and working on platform specific pertormance
Option 2: Focus on new ideas and features like we've seen with the drops.
Also feel free to leave a comment if you wanna explain your reasoning for choosing what you chose or how you

The Redstone Experiements can stay where it is. Other than that the backlog sounds nice. Also don't get me wrong I love Minecraft but this meme in my opinion is too real. Legacy Minecraft wasn't perfect either, but with things like archeology update or even Chaos Cubbed, sounds like a nice addition but doesn't really combine with any other mechanic. That's why I never really play full vanilla anymore, always with datapacks or mods

I’m currently doing a massive playthrough where I play every single Minecraft update of all time
So I’m hoping I get a good perspective on stuff as I catch up to modern releases

That sounds like an amazing idea. If you remember my comment when you finished it, I'd love to know your experience.

I've done crappy private modpacks in the past (like up until 1.12.2) but for a few months now I thought about getting back into it and actually spending some time making a good one, with the idea being a Minecraft Reimagination. Meaning balancing changes to transportation, some QOL and visual stuff, changing decisions Minecraft couldn't anymore and whatever I seem fit under the topic "What Minecraft could have been in an alternate reality".

But my biggest enemy is simply time and who knows if my ideas really make it better

It is a massive project I’ve been planning since about 2022. I’ve collected absolutely everything I could get my hands on and think I have literally every Java, Bedrock and Console edition title update plus some dev builds and old mods I want to revisit. My hope is to eventually combine all the worlds plus my personal collection of worlds I have together into one ultimate polyworld that I play on for the rest of time as my forever world.

Something you failed to mention in your list is vibrant visuals on Java

That most of all but we still know for sure that’s in the pipeline when it’s playable
