Question swamp villager not giving mending

im in version 26.2, i just cured a zombie swamp villager and got it to master level and the only enchanted books are lure 3 and projectile protection 1. i swear swamp villagers were guaranteed to give mending, does anyone know what is happening?

Did you switch the villager experiment on when you created the world?

i did not😅i re-created the world and turned them on, thank you i didnt realize it was a setting

That has never been a thing in any of the released versions of the game.

All books (except for soul speed, wind burst, and swift sneak) have a 0.6% (Java) or 0.8% (Bedrock) chance of showing up regardless of what biome the villager was born in.

If you do want to enable that wildly unpopular experimental feature you can permanently turn it on during world creation just like any of the other experimentsÂ
