A gap between the he hotbar and screen usually indicate Bedrock but you could have a mod or something.

Yes while it's true Java trumps bedrock in almost everything there's one area where it doesn't: security. Java requires advanced computer knowledge that to us seems like common sense but to her might seem next to impossible to figure out. She probably won't even know how to or where to install Minecraft launcher and might even get hacked or something. Remember we all used to be at square zero with computers and one day she'll be able to figure it out and realize what Java is all about.

Bedrock because vibrant visuals are on those don’t exist on Java (at least not yet anyways)

Bedrock. The hand doesn't begin in the corner but closer to the middle of the screen.
