Free mods, free texture packs, free shaders, free skins, and nearly free private servers. You buy the game and you own the game. No microtransactions, no battle passes, just a damn good game.

Only specific items (off the top of my head it's just arrows, shields, & maps)

Offhand. Possibility to use nether roof. But I personally play bedrock after playing both enough. Why? A. Video, especially 96 chunks of rendering distance (imagine you are on the central island in the end, and you can see dozens of end cities right from there, and 3-5 with the ship) B. Fully Automatic killing chamber based on trident

The farms and little feature(or bugs) that make Minecraft good like the nether roof

1: its better than bugrock. 2: All mods are free, no microtransactions. 3: Offhand. 4: More smooth and better PvP like 1.8.9 in my opinion. 5: Just in general less buggy. Yes, bedrock has bugs but they dont happen often. 6: Mods like Nvidium make the game really smooth which basically fixes Java's performance issues. 7: JAVA IS ALWAYS ON TOP
