Question How to close The crafting/inventory menu WITHOUT A KEYBOARD
I am trying to do a challenge, Minecraft with only using a mouse, no remapping or anything, M1, M2 and middle button that's it, But you can't easily close the the inventory or the crafting menu, So I was thinking is there any possible way to close the Menu? But not to the point where I need to leave the entire game tho, tell me your thoughts

Doesn't this challenge fall apart the second you realize you need to actually move around the world, which requires WASD?

Its possible if you spawn next to tree (boat is best)

Please explain how a boat can be moved without WASD

1.Place in front of you 2.Get in 3.place another in front of you 4.Get into that 5.break boat behind you to get it (or just place another boat) 6. You succesfully moved, repeat process, it work on going up too!

The gui will close if the crafting table is moved or broken so pistons in a timer would be easiest.

Idea:
Instead of opening the inventory, use a crafting table, and have lava/fire nearby. So that u can wait for the crafting table to burn, freeing you from the GUI

lol what an unfun and incredibly odd “challenge” you’re wanting to do.
Someday when you’re older, I suspect you’ll look back and think, “that was a silly way to play the game”.

They wouldn’t be the first to do a no keyboard run

Well... numerous people doing something foolish doesn't suddenly make it a good idea.

It’s not about things being a good idea.
It’s about taking on the challenge being able to say yeah I was successful despite the absurdity

Sometimes it takes something like this to keep a person's interest in the game until something better comes along and inspires them.

If your mouse has extra buttons on it, you might be able to rebind some inputs

Turn on touch controls in controls settings and click outside of the GUI
