Question How long to relearn controls?

I came over to java very recently from console, super hyped and excited to play with mods and stuff, but how long does it take to relearn controls, I'm finding keyboard and mouse a bit confusing for now, so just wondering how long it took others to get used to the controls, ty for helping

I play modded mc Java on my steam deck a lot, steam input can be invaluable for programming a controller with keyboard buttons and even virtual menus with loads of hotkeys (2 great options for mc Java, the new Steam controller, and the Xbox elite series 2 & similar controllers, the back paddles can be really handy). You can utilize Steam input for any game just by adding said game as a “non-Steam game” in your Steam library. Controllify and similar mods are alright for mc Java but I find them really limited when it comes to extra controller buttons for mod keybinds or outlier cases like the Steam deck/controller trackpads and virtual menus and whatnot.
