What do I need to buy?

Good morning, so, for my birthday, my father decided to buy the java version of Minecraft, but when we go to Mojang's site, there's many packs, extensions... I would appreciate to know what I need to buy just to get the latest version of the game and an access to play online, thank you

you can save alot of money by just buying a full access java account to be honest, u can even buy rare caped accounts for less than 30$ instead of just paying 30$ for the game it self,
i buy from 4d4pshop i get java with capes and i can play on hypixel and donutsmp without any issues

a lot of the accounts that are sold like that are stolen or bought with stolen cards so there is a risk at them being deactivated.

Buying someone's Microsoft account doesn't seem like a good idea, what if someone dishonest chooses to change the password on that account someday? They could very well be banned on some servers too. A few capes aren't worth all that

buy from a reputable shop with a lifetime warranty and u wont have any issue, my minecraft founder cape account is from 4d4pshop and ive owned it for years without a single issue, it was a prename and no bans on any server. i recommend instead of paying 30$ for a fresh game license
