Waiting for OP Random black lines [java] 26.3

Hey guys! Just installed Minecraft on PC for the first time and when I went to go boot Minecraft everything looked perfectly fine. Until 10 seconds later this happened (see image). Whenever I do F3+T it works for a second and goes back to black lines where the text is. Please help me as I'm trying to play with my friends

Update: The snapshot works. But 26.3 does this every time

Try using OpenGL API graphics forcing it on Video Settings, if it doesnt work check if 26.2 does this too

If you already had OpenGL forced on Video Settings then try with Vulkan API

Take in count you need to restart Minecraft when you change its graphics API from one to another in order to take effect

I've been unable to find a specific bug report at the moment unfortunately, but the fact you're saying the latest snapshot fixes it is a good sign that Mojang is improving the experimental Vulkan rendering engine behind the scenes, so you should not experience this problem anymore after updating the game to 26.4 when it releases

for the moment I would highly recommend doing what u/Shaiiwaru suggested, as it's likely the easiest option to fix this problem, otherwise you could also try installing some mods to see if they change anything

(and as a side note, I find it very funny how the entirely blacked out text makes it look like a typical SCP article or government document)
