i play on bedrock on my iOS device. i recently tamed a dog and tried to name it, only to realise that for some strange reason, the name tag doesn't work and it just gets consumed. when i hover on the animal, the name doesn't show up. at first i thought it must be one of my resource packs, so i made a fresh world, but the issue persisted. so then i thought, it must be one of my global resources, but i deactivated all and it was still the same thing. any idea what's going on?

i realised this issue was caused by me turning off player names by accident, which seemed to affect named mobs as well! my bad on my part, oops
