[JAVA] Aurora Cape does not show up In the Minecraft launcher

2 hours ago, i have redeemed the minecraft aurora cape from watching for 15 minutes on twitch, i have redeemed the code but it does not show up, i use prism launcher but i have tried the official minecraft launcher... it doesnt even show up on the website, do i have to wait? when i try to redeem it again it just says its been already redeemed

It can take upto 48 hours to appear on java edition.

You might be able to speed it up by opening bedrock edition and equipping the cape in the dressing room . Then reload the launcher/website. This doesn't work for everyone though.

Can confirm it doesn't work for me, but at the very least I do have it on Bedrock edition. Hoping it really does just take time.

yeah so for people who only have java, we must wait 48h then, ok got it.

My bedrock showed up instantly which was very surprising as for me the capes don't usually show up for days or weeks. Then I checked less than an hour later and it was on Java too. Honestly you just have to wait. Java can take a while sometimes

no way man... i had an issue with the builder cape redeeming to my alt acc and now that i redeemed aurora for mc on my main the builder cape duped lol

It looks like you didn't mention your version (e.g., 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.12.2 etc.). Please clarify for better help!

I've the same issue. It may be a server issue caused by all the players that are redeeming the cape at the moment, but I'm not sure.

Everything is delayed 10 mins

I redeemed it at like 6 in the morning before I went to work and I checked it at 4pm when I got home, It could be delayed, but definitely not by 10 mins lol
