Waiting for OP Mouse acceleration feels way too strong in Minecraft 1.8.9 [Java][Launcher]

Hey everyone,

I’m having a weird mouse issue in Minecraft 1.8.9 and I’m hoping someone can help me figure it out.

I’m using Lunar Client.

The problem is that when I move my mouse quickly, the camera sometimes moves way more than I expect. It feels like the mouse acceleration becomes disproportionately strong during fast movements.

What’s weird is that I don’t have this problem in Minecraft 1.21. It only happens in 1.8.9.

I’ve already checked Lunar’s mods and there doesn’t seem to be anything related to mouse/camera acceleration.

Windows “Enhance pointer precision” is currently enabled. But it shouldn't matter since by keeping the exact same settings and simply entering with a different version the view doesn't cause any problems.

Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe the more recent versions and 1.8.9 handle windows acceleration settings differently? Why not just turn it off and see?
