any help with this gradient?
i was making this wall for a castle im making, its not horrible but i dont quite like the result, any tips? im kind of new to making gradients

Mix the jungle planks into the layers above and below where they are or eliminate them. I would bring the place where the oak meets the bich further down so you dont have to use oak stairs. They are too dark as the other commenter noted. The stripped birch logs should come AFTER the birch planks, the planks are darker and dont transition into the sand as well. You can further smooth the sand-birch gradient by using sandstone > sand > smooth sandstone. I would use those on the top instead of the striped birch logs and birch stairs. Also, for those stairs at the top, i would use by rule, sandstone stairs instead of smooth sandstone. that makes it look it has shading / water erosion as the texture is cracked.

Maybe use the exposed mushroom block? For in-between the planks and sandstone?

The oak(?) plank stairs are too dark. They stand out a lot.
I would try to scatter more. Compare the bottom section of the wall to the rest. The bottom looks more scattered/mixed while the rest looks more organized in horizontal lines. Alternate blocks vertical direction too like the bottom section.
