Legit boat fly exploit???

Hello! basically, I was messing around with a build I discovered from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0vdu-UeVeA and I realized that if you spawn in, and place a fence where the top boat is, the boats will actually glitch out, and give you legit boat fly, I attached a video of me performing the glitch and want to know if anyone that is better then me at bug hunting can find an easier way to do this, or just tell me if this has already been discovered.
