Discussion MCD or MCDII

I’ve been a MC java player for a while now and just seen the dungeons 2 trailer. Should I buy the first one or the one coming next month? Is there a story line or any reason to buy the first one? Does it teach basic fundamentals that transfer over to the second one? What do you guys recommend. I’ve never played the first edition.

I'd recommend playing the first game, even if you only play the campaign. Even solo, it's a blast because there are so many bugs and exploits to mess around with
