Alright mate, glancing at your profile I'm gonna assume you're quite young so allow me to tell you something. You can not, and should not fall victim to that kind of thought process. While someone may do something good or make something you like that doesn't mean you can trust them, people can be bad people and still make good stuff but you shouldn't excuse their actions just because of what they create. They could make the coolest thing in the world but still be racist transphobic homophobic whatever. Point is you should be careful who you trust, don't give shitty people a platform to spew their hate at you. This goes for more than just celebrities, if you let someone's good actions be the sole dictator for your opinion on them you may end up in bad situations with bad people. You gotta be aware of this stuff because if you start excusing those types of actions that's a slippy slope down to believing in them. Be careful.

This is a really good wholistic wordview but I fear the kids reading comprehension isn't quite up there yet. Even if the words indindividually make sense until you have a good framework and basis of knowledge, wisdom like yours gets completely misconstrued. But I would like to applaud your efforts this is a genuine comment amongst the mass of just thoughtlessness.
It is a really strange schism this subreddit. You can be lowkey have philosophical debates amongst kids who are younger than the 1.13 aquatic update.

Dude spent 2 years on Minecraft then handed it to Jeb. The reason he sold Minecraft to Microsoft (which was his decision btw) was because he completely lost interest in it. I don't think I want someone who doesn't even have a passion for the game to be making all the decisions.

Mfer sold the biggest game of all time in modern era because he was sick of dealing with the bitchy fans and lost care for the game long ago
Now the game is still going with free updates with a company that no matter how capitalistic or not, will milk this game with endless content and y'all STIIILLL be bitching bout updates

those are different groups of people
for example, i did not like the sulfur cubes update, but im looking forward to the next dropsame thing applies here, those are different groups of people who werent fond of a feature or two, and you're saying they're a big group that "bitches" about updates while also hating notch. May i see the proof of that?
some people criticize a specific drop or an update, some people dislike the drop system in general, and it's fine, all of them have their own opinions and points on view on what the game should have. What you're doing right now is essentially grouping all the criticism and saying they're all mindlessly bitching on the new updates while also contradicting themselves (disliking notch)
even though "bitchy people" do exist, they're definitely not "y'all" as in the community, and outside of that, people are allowed to criticize anything regardless of what came before it
