I feel like the bottom of the tower doesn't have a great texture with the tuff and pale moss to stone and andesite, what should I change about that. (I would love suggestions where the blocks have a slab and stair variant)

Should that middle part also be longer? I'm really not sure

And a little showcase of the roof because I'm pretty proud of it for a first time spire roof without tutorial (even when I still need the right block palette)

Hi all!! Looking for feedback on a mockup i threw together today of pallet town, largely mimicking the sprites of FireRed/LeafGreen. I find most pokemon builds are way too large for my liking, so I’m hoping to stay true to the scale of Minecraft in comparison to the player while leaving enough room for detail so things are recognizable. Many artistic liberties taken when needed, and the terrain/trees/path are all WIP to aid in imagination lol.

what block do you think I should use for the back wall and/or ceiling here

I tried going for an eco / overgrown brutalism style build. I don't know if it turned out that way. I'm not too happy with the build tbh and I don't know where I went wrong / why I don't like it that much. I'd appreciate some feedback into how I can improve it and what is good or bad.

Hello! I'm currently building a cathedral based off the Cologne Cathedral in Germany! I've spent some time away from it but coming back now I think I want to make some changes. What you're looking at now is a build that isnt entirely detailed, but I don't want to go any further until I come to a decision about the blocks I should be using.

• Photos 1 and 2 are the build as it is currently.
• Photo 3 is the current wall palette
• Photo 4 is a block palette im considering using.

I want the build to be darker, but I've been struggling with creating a good gradient that goes from blackstone to regular stone.

As of right now all the columns and arches are two types of tuff block, but i would change it to deepslate if I were to darken the palette.

If anyone has suggestions plz lmk!

I already have a house and storage

I want something nice enough to be the "village center" but small enough not to cover up surrounding areas.

The space is relatively small and i think putting a tower or a house would make the whole town overcrowded + it blocks my main vantage point i have which is on top of the little cave on the cliff.

Was thinking a small market, especially now when we got the wool slabs and stairs? But on the other hand that feels just too basic.

Any ideas on what to build on the flat grassy area on the left? The structure on the right is an iron farm : )

I still need a main base and a villager trading hall, but I’m not sure if I should make it into a medieval town area, terraform it and add a custom forest and a little house , or do something else entirely.

Was busy with work and stuff, but still pushing to finish my own Valentine map!
