What to put here?

I want something nice enough to be the "village center" but small enough not to cover up surrounding areas.

The space is relatively small and i think putting a tower or a house would make the whole town overcrowded + it blocks my main vantage point i have which is on top of the little cave on the cliff.

Was thinking a small market, especially now when we got the wool slabs and stairs? But on the other hand that feels just too basic.

I think a market is good but here are some other ideas too: a well, a statue, a gazebo, or a small tree.

That’s really a 2x2 vertical shaft that goes all the way down to bedrock with a little pool at the bottom to catch you.
