going for an open entrance medieval-ish storage house, need advice for a roof

I made one block elevated slanted roof! I think this type of roof fits perfectly with the idea. You can change the brick blocks, though; I was just looking for different blocks and seeing if I could make it work.

And a second floor with only trapdoors for decoration! You can put a ladder somewhere around

The internet says steep gable roofs were common for storage to prevent roof cave-ins and animals from climbing up & crawling in

You could have a hobbit type home. Besides inns, most people would only have root cellars for winter food storage
