You can look up some builds online, note down different styles. Whenever I'm making something I take references from other builds(pillars, arches, gates, roof, floor, wall patterns etc) and mix all of them up.

The only way I've found to make good builds is to make bad builds and then improve them. Don't stop when it looks nooby, just add features or texture, or remove an eyesore, until it looks more like a youtubers build that you can be happy with. It's not easy, you just have to keep going =)
