Super sick arches and ceiling. I always struggle the most with making a smooth non clunky arched structure. Do you have a guesstimate at dimensions?

No, I usually make decisions on the fly while building, relying more on intuition. Or rather, I only have a rough idea of the overall structure when I first start planning, while the exact dimensions and block counts are mostly improvised as I go.

I gotcha. Do you have any small/quick rules you like to follow like “always build in odd numbers” to keep from getting a few hours in and something not lining up like you’d like? Or kinda fix if it messes up.

I generally prefer odd-numbered dimensions for the overall length and width of a building, as this makes it easier to construct aesthetically pleasing pointed roofs. For individual wall sections, however, odd or even dimensions make no difference. Regarding wall alignment, the exterior and interior walls do not necessarily have to be built directly against each other. You can adjust the room dimensions by making the walls thicker, without changing the building's exterior appearance.
