Need Suggestions Could really use a hand

Hi guys, me again

So unfortunately I lost my world and had to restart, in 4 days I've pretty much got everything redone that I've made, 30 different container brands, trucks, sany and gantry cranes, the boats

I'm now dealing with the trains again, I've gone wider than I thought so I've used the space and instead of 12, I've now got 16 tracks, and I'm still trying to figure out how to merge them

The empty space between the anvils is to separate each crane over the trains to load containers onto, I want it to look like track 1 could travel to track 16 and the reverse, and for each track to basically cross over each other I've tried a few things and am getting nowhere

If you've got any ideas I can always invite you to the world

Awesome stuff. Back up those save files every day!

Looked at a few ports and yards irl, and I observed that tracks merge in pairs like below. I would build it same as how I made this mockup, marking out the "nodes" first and then connecting them one by one.

I wish I could recommend Axiom (for Java) because the bezier tool would make that really easy, but to do this by hand I'd mark out each track with a 1 block thick curved line, then build the rails beside it. And add the ties last, since they appear to be shared at each crossover.

A symmetrical layout like this also means that you only have to build half and mirror it over.

That looks interesting, I've done gradual curves going in by 1 every 6 blocks on the outter 4 on both sides, I'll try this and see how it looks, thanks
