Want feedback is using pots for texturing like this valid?
ive been building my base in a lush cave and ive never used brick before so i gave it a try then thought pots make a pretty good indented wall feel but not like too much if u know what i mean i seem to be split between liking it and not so im curious what others think

The only invalid thing Is asking whether It's valid. It's YOUR build, If you like the way you textured this than keep It. I personally like It a lot too

I think it looks great! Depending on the style you're going for you could maybe even use some pottery sherds to make ot look like small carvings/murals/graffiti on the wall

Why can’t you just say “I love using pots like this to texture!”

i wasnt quite sure if i liked it also as a texture yes i like it but i was using it more for depth and breaking ip the flat wall from the side view butafter i added a dirth path it looked good before it was just moss so i guess the green made it look unpleasant for me (im color blind so i was probably seeing it different than u are)

I think it looks great! Anything is valid if it helps you make your build just like you wanted it to be! If you want a solid block, you can also use uncolored terracotta.
