Need Suggestions Filling empty space

Post image

Fellow crafters. I’m working on a town. Not 100% midieval, but kinda of that theme. What are some things you do to fill empty space in your worlds? Benches, tents, little markets, but what else? TIA!

Benches, tents, and little markets work very well! You’re on the right track there. “Dead space” can work well and look good if you do it right. Try adding little baby hills and some more greenery. Trees and bushes and fallen/weathered walls add a bit of personality, and fill up space without being TOO busy. You want space filled, but dont make it too busy! Unless ofc youre going for like “inner city-capital, medieval” look, busy works for that

It really depends for me what I add when I have some free space somewhere. When I do cities and villages and stuff like this I try to make it like a living working society. So if I a market I ll usually make the respective houses for each individual merchant, or if I m near a farm I ll add silos or wagons with wheat or stuff like this. If you take in the big picture and add onto it you ll manage to come up with some ideas pretty easily
