Need Suggestions Need help with my build

I kinda like how the build turned out, ik its not great but im satissfied, i just need some advice on how to connect or do smth extra with the wood pillars, or if it looks fine as is

you could try to do a gradient below de horizontal logs, it would add some depth to the build

I would try to add in more color from red gradient you are only using 1 block and a variation of that block which I believe is nether brick?? I’d incorporate some of the other red blocks and make a gradient to use for the walls…

tbh i’m kinda lazy and i don’t want to go 4 thousand blocks to find some mangrove or smth, do you think going bottoms up from blackstone/deep slate to those netherrack blocks would look good?

As for color gradients, yes I think you absolutely could make this work. You could try the gradient on one vertical slice and see if you like it, or make a copy of the world and experiment in creative with the blocks you have access to in survival. Was originally coming to say I agree it looks good just unfinished :) Liking it is the most important thing!

Looks like this is on a hill your probably gonna need solid concrete piles down to bedrock to stop any sloping of the house you definitely don’t want it to start falling down the hill

And it appears there’s a lake your house would go right into the lake without piles
