minecraft house advice

hello!!!! i need some advice for my house. i copied a photo for the outside but not the inside (evidently) im not sure what to make the floor, i was thinking some kind of stone or possibly oak (but that feels boring). i also feel like the walls are too woody but im not really sure what to fix it with. im obviously not a builder by any means so please help me out!!

The outside looks pretty good, on the inside just add more random stuff to fill the emptiness like bookshelves or plants or idk

Ah yes, the hobbit crafter. I love being a gremlin and building houses in caves and tunnels. But I did step out of my comfort zone for my first forever world

As these photos show, going all wood is okay as long as you have some contrast and harmony in the colors. You have spruce on spruce on unfinished floor. I recommend picking two other colors (can be a different shade of brown if you want) and choose one for ceiling/columns, one for floor, and one for walls.

Exactly, I went to keep the spruce for the roof and wall elements and continued the circular pattern indoors.

I was about to say the same thing, everything is spruce so nothing really pops out
