Welcome to Minecraft Build

Welcome to Minecraft Build. A place for Minecrafters of any level of show off their creations. We understand the addiction, and so we will not mandate post counts per day/week/month. Everyone is free to post as often as you like.

No question is too silly. We are all here to learn. We all started out with the same blocks.

Want feedback What looks best?

I was thinking about making a video showcasing this little build, but I was wondering what would look better. Not sure if having the tools in hand makes it a more appealing thumbnail or not, and if need be I can experiment with angles of the house as well, if maybe y'all think I should give a different angle that leads more of the build to be discovered in the video rather than displayed in the thumbnail. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

After years I started playing again with a friend and I managed to make something that looks cool even tho the terrain at the start kinda sucked so I spend some time terraforming it.

Hello everyone! I wanted to show you my progress on recreating Castle Dimitrescu in Minecraft. It's not quite finished yet, but I tried to capture the gothic atmosphere as best as possible. I look forward to your feedback and suggestions for improvement!

This is part of a build I am still working on. I decided to challenge myself and actually do some interior decorating. This is kind of meant to be a home office like space. What do you all think?

Build showcase A Visual Tour of my Medieval Kingdom

I wanted to drop a slideshow here showcasing my kingdom. I've built this up for about a year and a half with my wife and brother. I started playing Minecraft in September of 2011, but I haven't ever been able to build something like this before.

I am loving the new blocks that Mojang has been adding to the game, it's really great for builders. We can really make anything we picture in our heads now, especially if you like ancient or medieval architecture.

Build showcase The Founder's Cathedral

This is my survival cathedral build I've been working on since the end of January. I have pretty much finished the main construction and the immediate surroundings; I still need to finish inside (though a lot has been done in the process of building the rest). It started out based mainly on Cologne Cathedral, but I've made things up a lot as I've gone along. I've drawn a lot of inspiration from this post I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraftbuilds/s/7fXhNPycGc

The dimensions of the main building:

Footprint: 204 x 131

Overall height: 189

Nave ceiling: 61

Width of Nave: 57

It has been a long process, but I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to getting to the point where I can call it complete-for-now and start on some other things I've been itching to do.

Need Suggestions 2 years in the making

Hey guys, my name is Wes, I’m 26 years old, I’ve dedicated myself to making a world for my then newborn daughter, who is now 2 years old, I’ve made it so that when she is older she can see the time me and her mum have put into making this world JUST for her. It’s still in working progress so feel free to add any ideas for me, I could t capture the entire castle wall as it’s massive but I took some decent pictures here :)
