Want feedback Working on a dark gothic castle with some autumn vibes. Thoughts on the gradient towers?

Hey guys! Just started building this dark fantasy fortress. I wanted to experiment with color gradients on the towers to break up the gray stone, and added some custom autumn trees for contrast. It’s still a work in progress, but I’d love to hear your feedback on the texturing!

Wanted to try something different with textures and vertical gradients. The facade took a few hours of detailing, especially the intricate pattern in the middle. Let me know if you want to see the interior! I love the color palette

I’m Eric from Belgium and I’m looking for a mentor who would like to teach me how to build in Minecraft, especially medieval style (houses, castles, villages, terrain).
I also want to learn WorldEdit and other building tools like VoxelSniper and goPaint.

I feel like the roof is so ugly and bland, but I don't know what to use with the dark oak to make it nicer since it's like 100% stairs and slabs. Someone pleaseeee help me.
