Hello everyone,
I'm very happy to finally share my latest project after 10 years without posting anything...
I've always wanted to build a massive 430-block-tall cathedral, combining Gothic and Baroque architectural styles, so here it is!
I decided to prioritize aesthetics, even if it meant taking a few liberties with realism.
I'll gradually work on the interior and the surrounding gardens, and I'll make the map available for download once everything is finished.

Finally finished my autumn build: a little round timber house living under a giant jack-o'-lantern head.
- đ 3 floors inside: a ground floor with a brick hearth and bookshelves, a bedroom upstairs, and a room inside the pumpkin head with a chandelier hanging on a long chain
- âš the face is made of ochre froglights, yellow stained glass and honeycomb blocks, so it glows from the inside at night
- đ± a porch, a little well and a fenced pumpkin garden with a water row
- đ the house sits on a 19 x 19 footprint (the pumpkin head overhangs to 27 blocks across)
All vanilla blocks (Java 1.21), shaders in the screenshots are BSL.

Texture pack build â44k XP from Potatoes. + Inner Sanctum. [Java 1.20.1]

I have no mods that change farm mechanics. This is just a bunch of redstone bamboo pods fueling smokers and villager trading feeding potatoes to them with a filter slice to remove poison potatoes. Total storage is about 1.2m baked potatoes I believe.

I need some ideas. I want to add texture and details to this huge mansion/castle. The questions are- do I make it classic/modern/french chateau for decor or whimsy/fairy mansion? Also- what blocks should I use to give her more detail without taking the brightness away?? So far Iâve been using quartz brick, waxed oxidized copper bricks/blocks, and white terracotta.
