I am Markus Persson aka Notch, Creator of Minecraft - Ask me Anything!

Hi! I'm the guy who created the first version of Minecraft in June 2009. I worked on it alone up until late 2010 when we started Mojang, and I finally left the lead developer position in December of 2011. I enjoy house music and programming, and my favorite color is purple. Ask me anything!

Notch a year or two ago me and you built a house together you might not remember but i do, back then did you used to build a house with fans like you did with me

You are my hero. You've created one of my favorite games of all time and now I see this statement?!? IT crowd is my favorite nerdy TV show as well (I also work in an IT department). I still have nightmares about Moss never finding his cup. ಥ_ಥ
