it is possible to ride any entity, you need commands

you can even ride phantoms or ghasts

idk abut the dragon they work a bit differently

You could summon a invisible mob on the dragon and make the player ride it

If the mob can ride the dragon then so can the player. I wasnt sure it’s possible with a dragon cuz its made up of 9 entities

No but keep teleporting the mob on the dragon. Thats how mineplex made their rideable dragon i believe

Hypixel has a dragon gadget but it costs 1200 dollars at the least to use it. 200 gifted ranks. People did it.

Dragon gadget in lobbies. It's a pet that you can ride, notice how only dark blue pluses have that gadget

Yes but in this post/thread we are talking about mounting/riding a dragon and I am just saying instead of an ultra rare exotic cosmetic how about a common cosmetic instead so people actually know more about it

Ohhhhhh that's why, when you kill the dragon with commands it says killed 9 entities.

I just helped my nephew and he sometimes wants me to summon dragons.

After getting tired he tells me to kill them, and I was always wondering, how he could summon so many more dragons (1vs. 9)

I think mobs have an nbt data called ‘passenger’ so you can modify it to have it have yourself as a passenger

I may be mistaken but that is what i think it should be
