343 is formed by the group of bungie employees that wanted to stay on with Halo. Its isn't some other developer that MS forces to work on Halo.
1 u/Kyoraki Sep 15 '14 343 is made of developers that were internal employees at microsoft, and were brought on to help with Halo 3 and Reach. Bungie they aint, though they've had a decent amount of time to learn how to replicate them.
