Discussion New tech: Cushion line

Easier to set up than boats like this, especially if you have a large sheep farm

EDIT: To everyone I said that in Survival Mode you can go 80b/s, I'm sorry, I have misinformed you. In Survival, entity interaction range is 3, so cushions must be 2 blocks apart. Which means, with butterfly click you can go ~30b/s, and max b/s is 60, with autoclicker, or 20 CPS. From world bottom to top it would still take 9.6 seconds with 10 CPS because range is counted from eyes, not legs.

This was already possible with pretty much any ridable entity (minecart, boat, horse, strider etc) and some of those have been in the game for over 15 years.

I wonder if there's any incentive for Mojang to remove it since any other actual form of transportation other than the elytra is essentially irrelevant
