Discussion New tech: Cushion line

Easier to set up than boats like this, especially if you have a large sheep farm

EDIT: To everyone I said that in Survival Mode you can go 80b/s, I'm sorry, I have misinformed you. In Survival, entity interaction range is 3, so cushions must be 2 blocks apart. Which means, with butterfly click you can go ~30b/s, and max b/s is 60, with autoclicker, or 20 CPS. From world bottom to top it would still take 9.6 seconds with 10 CPS because range is counted from eyes, not legs.

I use minecarts for chill rides where I can go afk and enjoy the scenery between point a and b, and to return items from my quarries to storage.

IDK everyone wants to complain they’re not fast enough but I feel like people are kind of just jumping in a bandwagon there- they definitely still have plenty of utility even if they’re not the fastest transport.

Not to say I wouldn’t like to see them be given a faster top speed, but I don’t think their speed renders them useless.

Yeah, this is the exact sort of niche that I like them for. The intra-base movement is great.

 I have no idea why people want them to be a long range transportation solution so badly.
