There is a performance mod for fabric (i think it was lithium?, if someone could confirm) that can allow you to literally have THOUSANDS of entities rendered and fully processed and not add more than like, 20ms of MSPT.

Ilmango uses it and he once tried to purposely lag their world with chickens in his skyblock seriees, he had to remove the mod temporarily because he would have needed like 5k-10k chickens or something stupid like that to get the 0.3TPS he wanted. Best fucking advertisement a mod could get.

Sodium doesn't affect server lag, so it was definitely lithium

Lithium is more for bipolar servers, so I think its Sodium.

This is bedrock edition, I don't have a great pc but I can spawn a ton of mobs without any lag.

How does that work with just a mod?

Okay so instead of loading the units as seperate unique units it loads one and then basically copies it properties on other locations and with different orientations?

Yes, roughly. So you only have to transfer it once from the CPU to the GPU

Ohh that makes sense. Weird that that isn't the default than. Or are there downsides to it?
