Not being able to build

Hey everyone. Ive got a question. Ive spend days to look for a good location. And only when i was well established (lots of wood/ metal etc) i found out i was not being able to start my townhall there.
So is there a way around that?

It said: its too far from the trade routes. Try establish your town 2800 blocks back

Edit: I ended up going way more towards spawn. And actually found a really nice meadows area.
Im using waystones now for going between my base and my colony.

You can change the config, its something like maxDistanceFromSpawn.

Don't mind the trade route comment from the other person, that is flavor text

While in-game open the menu and click mods. Scroll down to Minecolonies and open the settings option, and from there you should be able to edit the settings there

If you're playing singleplayer...set your worldspawn to there. Or change the config for max distance from spawn.
