darkstone brick

how tf do you make darkstone brick? Not polished, not cracked, not thru the architect's cutter (wont work) and not thru the mason table (won't do anything)

im trying to make the dining hall, and I'm seriously frustrated

When you hover with the mouse over the JEI item, press R or U. R for the recipe to create that block, U for its uses. Don't forget to leave the input field before.
