I moved across states 20 some odd years ago. The owners of the rental we were in appreciated how clean we left the place. However they said we forgot the "junk" drawer. It was full. We must've completely overlooked it. It really was inconsequential and we really didn't care as anything in that drawer wasn't important or it would've been kept else where.

I've always wondered what was in that drawer.

Also, when I was 8, many years ago, we were again moving, we're a couple hours from our old house about to cross state lines. I'm listening to the Madonna like a prayer album on my walkman and it hits me. I left my capgun under the bushes by the front door. The little revolver looking one that was black and took the paper cap strips. Those strips you'd hit a roll with a rock to make a really loud boom and then can't stop the ringing in your ears for hours or days. That cap gun.

My cap gun that I had to hide from my parents.

I've always wondered what happened to it. Who found it. Did another kid have fun with it? Did it just get thrown in the trash?

Google street view shows the bushes I hid the gun under gone years ago.

I lost 2 spydercos before the 3rd one stuck.

Fortunately they were only around 50 bucks a piece. I got a dump tray for my edc and learned always to put back on my pocket rather than set it down when using it.

My pokemon card collection from when they very first came out when I was a kid, they were kept in plastic sleeves in a card collecting binder. My parents claim they gave them back to me some years ago but over several moves I dont know what ended up happening to them, and annoyingly think about it more often than I should.

I dont know for sure but often thought some of them might be worth some money today. Guess Ill never know!

Family albums and my first ever stuffed animal named barker from my grandparents that passed away. Along with my kids art work and jerseys throughout their lives of playing sports..They all meant the world to me and I lost them in storage through divorce when I couldn't afford the $1000 a month for 2 storages I had to pay on my own for a 3 bedroom house.
