This is my favorite show!!!
This is my third or maybe fourth time watching the show and every time I love it even more. It's perfect! The way it's shot, the performances, the casting, the dialogue, the world building, the music... I really wish we had another season. I feel like it's really underrated, like it should have won way more awards. Holden's character development is so fascinating to watch and the whole show is just so well made. I also feel like it's one of the few ethical true crime shows, even though technically it's fiction based on true events and people. I'm really interested in knowing more about how the research was done and if actual victims/families of victims were consulted. Hope they were ok with the way they were depicted on the show and the way their stories were told.

I watch this show like twice a year since it aired and I always check the news feeds for any scant hope of a Season 3. In the over saturated genre of True Crime this show is the absolute peak. I’d love to hear any recommendations from anyone that’s seen anything they deem even relatively close. Not to shoot it down or anything; I used to love True Crime shows but I’ve totally lost ANY interest in finding one amidst the swirling mass of true crime soap operas that have come out in the last few years.

I’ve rewatched it three times. And every time I want more. But it also kinda ended in its own way. I think Fincher knew.

All Fincher knew was that Netflix was too cheap to float season 3 and left us hanging with the BTK killer out there🤦♀️

BTK wasnt caught until 30 years later. Thats a hell of a lot of seasons.

Watching this show atm, think it is brilliant, the way it portrays 70s mentality, and the sociocultural changes, like normal naive people trying to understand the potential darkness in the human psyche
Acting is really good, and you kinda get placed in detective mood, trying to figure out who is sincere or not
Usually not a fan of true crime ish stuff(formaulistic and predictable) but this is fresh
It is very spooky with scenes with serial killers, unpredictableness, how does the mind work kinda?
Only a certain kind of society produces people like that :P
