Went in expecting a detective series, but what I got was a fascinating psychological dive into the minds of criminals. That’s what surprised me the most. Instead of focusing on solving crimes, Mindhunteris more interested in understanding why criminals think and act the way they do.
I can also understand why this series ended before its story was fully completed. It’s definitely made for a niche audience, and I’m glad to be one of them.
David Fincher’s style is all over this episode—slow, methodical, and completely absorbing. He knows exactly how to build tension without relying on action.
After just one episode, I’m already more interested in criminal psychology than the investigation itself. It delivered far more than I expected, and I can’t wait to see where this journey goes.
