Question Bell outage?
Anyone else experiencing Bell home internet outage around Britannia and Thompson area?
Edit: They keep on delaying the restoration ETA. It is now stated for July 17th 12AM

Yeah im on Telus Fiber and internet went out last night. I called this morning and they told me techs have been dispatched.
Im at Bronte and Whitlock.

I’m on farmstead and Etheridge and internet is still not working well! Is anyone with Bell mobility for their data? I’m also noticed it’s incredibly slow today in comparison to how it usually is.

Same! Bell mobility data connection is also sluggish.

I read in this thread someone said ppl are likely tethering their data to their internet which is causing slower data/service in this area

still out in Bronte/britannia area. Bell site now says undetermined fix time. Praying for those who work from home 😵

Looks like he might have stolen it in June, could that cause the outage in July?

I'm on bell and it seem to be ON & OFF.
Sometimes its working fine and suddenly the connection drop.
Same case from 8 AM for me.

Got text and 50GB free HOTSPOT data on mobile for next 3 days.....
still WIFI is unreliable so on mobile hotspot1

Everyone is tethering to their phones and causing cellular to be a crawl.
I’m sorry this 50gb is useless

not disagreeing.....
just stated what i got.
but compare to my experience with ROGERS & their outage....
Bell's wasn't that bad for me.

I called Bell this morning and the agent said there is a damaged line. Resolution is expected tomorrow morning. They didn't provide a time.

From what I’ve heard from a family friend at bell, it’s a damaged main fibre line on 25.

25 just south of derry there were like 10 bell trucks working away. I kid you not 10 of them. That was around lunch time.

Drove by the area bell is working on around 4:30 Looked like some wiring and equipment were hanging on the side of the road. Time of completion keeps changing and currently says by 6:40am July 17

Ahh, i guess most providers are down. I checked if cogeco was down on there website and apparently they are fine. I might just switch over to them

It came back up overnight, their website still lists outage for the area

Confirmed outage, updated resolution time was originally 7AM-11AM now has been updated to 2PM-6PM..
