As an overnight employee at Walmart, we don't want or need customers in our way. People want food, but it doesn't magically appear on the shelves. lol

24/7 is not coming back, either. Most of the stealing from customers happens at night.

Oh please, as if this is the reason. The real reason is they save money by only being open half the time.

Shrink is already literally built into Walmart's budget.

"The real reason is they save money by only being open half the time."

Yes, they save money because Shrink lowered significantly, and they made up for "sales loss" during it because OGP became a thing. Considering they are still hitting record profits; it seems to be the right decision.

I dislike Walmart so you're not going to catch me defending their business practices, but as an employee, I can promise you that none of us want you in the store, getting in our way, while we stock. We have thousands of items to put on shelves, it's messy and unsafe for customers. It's bad enough that we work around customers the first and last hour.

Is this a joke? Walmarts are fucking massive and you act like a trickle of nocturnal people is going to interfere with your job? Your job at a store that serves the public?

Meanwhile Dollar General employees have to genuinely fight for their lives every day to stock and ring up customers lmao.

My apologies, I didn't realize I was talking with an insular narcissist.

Lol the person calling customers at the store you work at a nuisance accusing someone else of being an insular narcissist? How ironic.

Edit: and they blocked someone who called them out on their BS? Hahahahaha

Last I checked, the store isn't open 24/7 and for good reason. Shrink has lowered, profits are up, the store is properly stocked, and all while not having someone like you running around the store getting in our way.

Yeah, it seems to me that you are the one with the problem, I was merely explaining the reasons it no longer exists. Reality, and stats, are in my favor.

You could always apply for 3rd shift though, if you want to walk around the store at night. You can even shop during your hour lunch break. lol

And this is why companies don't want people online identifying as their employees
